Close'Fountain Surprise' Agave, or Agave Ocahui, is meant for humid, warm climates but does well in the Pacific NW as long as it can be sheltered during the coldest months. This variety slowly forms a beautiful upright blue-green rosette, about 18" tall and up to 24" wide, so does well in container planters. Place it in sunny locations when the temps warm up but move 'Fountain Surprise' Agave where it will have protection from low temps and frost in the fall and winter. This specimen adapts well to Oregon's coastal climate where it can stay outdoors year-round.
