CloseThe delicate, airy fronds of maidenhair ferns are unmistakable, and are often a favorite for both indoor and outdoor gardeners. The Himalayan Maidenhair Fern is one that can handle colder weather, evergreen in warmer winter climates, and typically overlooked by deer. This maidenhair is a low grower, reaching about one foot in height, but it can slowly spread by rhizomes to three feet wide. Lovely in the shade garden, it adds an airy texture to container planters and hanging baskets as well.
