CloseLike most phormiums, 'Black Rage' New Zealand Flax does best in full sun with regular watering, although it does become somewhat drought-tolerant once established. Growing to three to four feet tall, 'Black Rage' can eventually form a clump four to five feet wide, providing a dramatic backdrop for other sun-loving plants in borders, rock gardens, and large container planters. Hardy down to 10 degrees F, this variety adds year-round interest to the landscape.
