Interesting Plants The nose, knows!

The nose, knows!

J-Dog, Jonn Karsseboom reviews the herbs that have just come into the store and shows some unusual scented foliage, a plant that smells like a Thin Mint Cookie (A type of Girl Scout Cookie) and a fantastic hanging basket / container plant - all newly arrived.

What herbs do you grow for your cooking?  Is there an especially fragrant plant you just love?

Mint bush could be found in, of all places, Australia! It is a fun plant that can do well in the Pacific Northwest...most of the time...except in the cold, wet winter. And Yes! Send a photo if you run across one. I'll send you one or post one as well! Hope all is well!

Had the most beautiful mint bush in Australia. Absolutely loved it. One of my favourites. It was hard to focus on when in bloom ... kind of surrounded by a purple haze! Maybe that's what Jimmy H was referring to! Will send you some pictures when I can find them ... I might have left them in Oregon!
Do they tolerate the Oregon winters very well?
