In reality, it's not easy to save money by gardening for food.  It's better to grow your own of course, but usually not a cost savings - with the exception of blueberries!  If you do it right, these guys are a great value and will give you lots of berries to enjoy.  Here are some tips on planting and caring for blueberries.
