You'll love the versatility of this sedge. 'Ice Dance' adapts to full sun or full shade, and is an attractive filler or centerpiece in hanging baskets and containers. Planted in the ground, Ice Dance looks fabulous in mass plantings and thrives in wet areas of the garden. Spreading slowly by underground rhizomes, this sedge's elegant, foot-tall variegated leaves brighten shadier corners of the garden, and almost shimmer in the breeze. 

Caveat: 'Ice Dance' is a vigorous plant that can spread indefinitely if given free rein in the garden. Cut back clumps in late winter or early spring, or grow in container planters.
